When we agree to do something, and I give you a hand, and you fail to keep promise, not because you didn’t have the resources, or the man power, but you simply failed to due to your recklessness, irresponsibility and procrastination, things which are closely related, when that happens, who is to blame?
It’s easy to put the blame on someone else, but if we did everything we could and the other side still fails to keep the promise, it’s alright to blame them.
You shouldn’t feel guilty for blaming the other side if you did everything according to agreement.
If the other side thought that the agreement wasn’t fair, they shouldn’t have signed it in the first place. Once they pay the penalty for not keeping the promise, it’s too late to complain.
On the other hand, we can always choose to forgive them and give them another chance, but that doesn’t guarantee that they will keep their promise.
If they are the kind of people who don’t keep promises, sooner or later, they will have to face the consequences for that, and we will have to implement the punishment.
It’s not easy, it’s not pleasant, but hopefully, that teaches them a lesson.
Firstly, that people don’t like to be let down and secondly that not keeping promises has its consequences.
