Office computer doesn’t have a VPN and therefore I have a pretty limited internet; which means that I can’t access social networks, YouTube, Google and Google Docs, which I use to write blog posts and outline my novel.
Last couple of days I carried my laptop to work so I could write there when I had time for that.
I wrote a couple of blog posts, but I also spent some time on the “forbidden” internet.
Sometimes, it’s good to have limited internet because we tend to be more productive during those periods.
Cold Turkey is the software which offers you a solution to that problem by blocking certain websites and apps during a certain time of day.
Although I heavily rely on Cold Turkey it’s only active during the mornings while I work on my novel.
I guess I’ll have to extend it’s active hours to the rest of the day.
